The workgroups of TCC do the actual "work". Without the
workgroups and their members, the discussions that take place at the
TCC would never materialize into results.

Jurisdictional Planning Assistance (JPA)
Provides a forum for
strategic planning and systemic change for the purpose of
identifying best practice models for/and investing in
effective community-based alternative services for youth in order to
reduce costs through collaborative efforts, and reduce unnecessary
use of juvenile confinement facilities.

Substance Abuse
First Monday of the month from 9-11:00 am at the W.K. Kellogg
Foundation, Battle Creek.
Homeless Coalition
The last Monday of every month from 12-1:30 pm in the basement of
the Department of Human Services.
Senior Issues
Third Monday of every month from 9-10:00 a.m. at Burnham Brook,
Dining Room, Battle Creek.
Adult Outcomes
Third Wednesday of the month, from 2-3 p.m. at the United Way of
Greater Battle Creek Board Room, 34 West Jackson Street, Suite 4B in
Battle Creek.
Great Start Collaborative
Quarterly Meetings. The next meetings scheduled are November 6: 1–3
pm; February 17, 2009: 1–3 pm; and April 24, 2009: 8–10 am. All
meetings are at the Calhoun ISD in Marshall.
